My favorite decorating style is… cozy. I want people to come in, kick up their feet, and feel at home.
There are a million little ways we can do this over the holidays, but one way is to have a hot drink bar handy where people can choose their drink of choice.
Coffee? I have the special add ins.
Tea? Yes – with honey?
Hot chocolate? You betcha.
At your Thanksgiving holiday, consider how you can show hospitality in little ways – this idea being one of the most practical. Hot drinks make people feel cozy and warm, and that creates a feeling.
Don’t forget the frother. The frother is everything. I love this one. It’s a little more expensive but it is a workhorse and I’ve had mine for years (compared to the others that broke after 6 months).
Here is a list of what you need:
- Coffee (this Italian coffee is amazing)
- Tea
- Hot Chocolate
- Milk
- Sweeteners (I like to have multiple kinds – sugar, Stevia, Truvia, honey, etc.)
- Mugs
- Stir sticks – the hot chocolate stir cubes are so fun to have on hand, or try peppermint sticks
- marshmallows or whipping cream
