Red Hibiscus Flower 4th of July Drink

July 3, 2023

Need a crowd pleasing drink for your 4th of July holiday?

Here it is. A Hibiscus flower tea with fun add ins to meet every preference and taste.

Naturally red (no red dyes), different, delicious, and festive. And I like that it can be a cocktail or a mocktail.

I had the idea when I was in our WINCO grocery store and saw Hibiscus flower in their bins. You can also order it here.

We had a house full of my daughter’s college friends for the Fourth this year – the sweetest and most fun young women on the planet – so I wanted to have a fun drink for them.

I made the Hibiscus flower tea, then let everyone add what they wanted: club soda, limeade, Huckleberry Vodka, lemonade, sparkling soda drinks, etc.

I cut apple slices to make the star shapes which looked so cute in the drink dispenser and also in the glasses.

We used basil and mint leaves to top the drink.

I’d love to hear from you if you try it!
