DIY Velvet Flocked Ornaments

My dear friend and “bestie-in-law” Wendy from The Peaceful Homestead and I are doing a five day series called “Wendy + Krista’s Christmas Collab. Tune in on Instagram for Christmas ideas!

We’re getting our DIY on today as we make beautiful flocked ornaments. They look like velvet! 

This is craft that is way more fun to do with friends.

SUPPLY LIST

Here is what you will need for this fun craft.

+ plastic craft ornaments

+ adhesive paint & brushes

+ flocking color of choice

+ ribbon of choice to hang

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Paint glue on the plastic ornaments with a brush (remember the glue is oil based and will be sticky)
2. Shake the flocking on the glue. We ended up “shaking” the ornaments in a ziplock bag with the flocking.
3. Let dry on pencils stuck in a box.
4. String with pretty ribbon and hang.
