In 1989 I was a serious soccer player, but I dreamed of being a cheerleader. I think it was my calling, except a soccer ball got in the way. So I just became a cheerleading soccer player.
I would tie my hair up in a ponytail, put in a matching bow, and warm up the team to “Walking on Sunshine.” We’d sing at the top of our lungs and huddle close as we chanted, “If anybody can, we can! If anybody will, we will!”
Those were glory days and I loved every minute of being on that team. They were like family to me.
I’ve always been about the team. It’s where I thrive best. So it’s no surprise that when I’m about to launch into something really important, I want to gather a team.
You see, I wrote a book called Reclaiming Home. And it’s done…and it’s coming out September 15th!
This book was written for YOU – to the ones doing the hard work of raising a family with all you’ve got. We get tired, we get discouraged, and it’s just really challenging sometimes. We need help. We need our people….our team.
