LIFE DESIGNER.
Speaker. Author. Podcaster.
I’ve loved people, leadership, + home.
From as far back as I can remember,
my era's...
Most people don’t design their lives. They default into them.
I didn’t always have language for that—but I’ve been asking that question for a long time.
What kind of life do you want to live here?
I first learned to ask it in the world of home design. And it changed the way I saw everything.
Because good design isn’t just about how something looks.
It shapes how you live.
How you connect.
How you feel.
It creates space for belonging.
For peace.
For rest.
Intentional architecture isn’t simply decoration—it’s formation.
And if that’s true for a room…
how much more is it true for a life?
Infinitely.

Before I ever coached leaders, I lived this work.
With four kids in tow, I poured myself into building a life that held us together.
I created rhythms that brought us close instead of pulling us apart.
I built celebrations that marked what mattered.
I shaped a home people wanted to stay in.
To this day, the greatest compliment anyone can give me is this:
“I feel at home in my home.”
It was a full, beautiful, exhausting season.
And I wrote about it.
What started as sharing pieces of our life grew into something much bigger than I expected. I entered a writing contest with a major publisher and ended up in the top 10—which led to my first book deal. That book led to a second. I kept writing because the message kept finding people who needed it.
I started speaking. Writing for international audiences. Gathering women into rooms where they could be supported, stretched, and reminded that they weren’t alone.
Those rooms mattered deeply to me.
Then came the podcast—eventually growing into a top 1% ranked show in Christian podcasting.
Everything was working… until it wasn’t.
Life has a way of humbling you, no matter how much is going right.
We walked through a season as a family that challenged and stretched us.
I went through a surgery that left me unable to walk normally for a season—and complications that followed made it even harder.
It was heavy.
The kind of season where life doesn’t go as planned—
and reveals who you are in the middle of it.
And I knew I needed support.
That’s when I found coaching.
And it changed everything.

Coaching helped me strengthen what was being threatened—my mindset, my emotional footing, and my ability to move forward with clarity instead of just reacting to what was hard.
It gave me the tools to regulate my emotions, think clearly, and move in a direction that actually aligned with my values and priorities—even in the middle of uncertainty.
I wasn’t just trying to get through the season.
I was learning how to move forward in it.
Over time, something started to come into focus.
What I was walking through personally was deeply connected to what I was already stepping into professionally.
Coaching was changing me.
It was also becoming something I would offer to others.
Looking back, it makes sense. Coaching had always been a part of my story through leadership.
It found me early—when I became the first female ASB president at my school in 39 years. I didn’t fully understand what that meant at the time. I just knew that bringing people together, casting vision, and helping others step into something bigger than themselves felt like home.
That never left.
Over the years, leadership kept showing up—captaining collegiate and Olympic development soccer teams, mentoring, serving on boards, leading in organizations.
Eventually, I chose to formalize what had always been instinctive.
I went back to the classroom. Completed my coaching certification. Earned my credential through the International Coaching Federation—the gold standard in coaching. Added DISC facilitation. Trained under the John Maxwell Leadership Program.
And when I finished that season, I knew:
This is what I’m meant to build next.
Then the right people started finding me.
Executives. Founders. Leaders. High-capacity men and women who had built impressive lives—
and who wanted to keep growing into the next version of who they were becoming.
They weren’t looking for productivity hacks.
Or another performance framework.
They were looking for something deeper:
Clarity.
Alignment.
Emotional strength.
A way to move forward with intention—even as life continued to change.
If that resonates with you—
you’re exactly who I do this work for.

Today, I am a leadership coach, a keynote speaker, and the co-founder of The Transformation Triad—a global coaching team committed to bringing leaders to life.
The work is the same as it has always been. We ask:
Who are you—really?
Who are you becoming?
What are you called to build?
And is the life you’re living aligned with your highest values?
If any of those questions stop you—
that’s where we start.
This is life design for leaders.
And it changes everything—
work, relationships, organizations, legacies,
and the quiet interior life of people who had nearly given up on the idea that it could feel different.
My clients are leaders who refuse to settle for surface-level success.
They want their lives to count.
They want to leave a legacy worth leaving.
I work with them 1:1, in groups, on stages—and increasingly, alongside my Triad partners.
Because this level of growth and transformation was never meant to be built alone.
At the end of the day, whole-life excellence is the goal.

in the
everyday
When I’m not coaching or on stage, I’m in the Inland Northwest with my husband Erik—skiing black diamonds, hiking mountain trails, keeping bees, hosting people around our table, and practicing the rhythms that make everything else sustainable.
Our four young adult kids—and a bonus daughter—are off building lives of their own.
Being with my family—both my own and my extended family—is where I come alive.
It’s my greatest joy, and the part of my life I hold onto most tightly.
I believe the story you write with your life matters.
I believe design doesn’t happen by default—it happens by intention.
And I believe the most important architecture you will ever create is not a room, or a company, or a career.
It’s a life.
If you’re ready to stop defaulting and start designing—
I’d love to help you design yours.
